Ronnie Caywood, playing guitar and singing since his early teens, continues to entertain crowds throughout Texas. His love of music, along with his talent lead Ronnie back into music where he has developed his own unique style which includes Country, Blues, Rock n Roll and Gospel music.
Although Ronnie remains modest about his music, you can find him performing a wide range of venues doing Solo Gigs, Trio Gigs and with Bands. A second round participant in NBC's "America's Got Talent" , Ronnie has also showcased in various Songwriter Nights in Nashville, the famous Bluebird Cafe and Tootsie's in Nashville.
Ronnie has shared bills with Country Singers & Grand Ole Opry stars, Claude Gray, Jody Miller, Miss Norma Jean, Mary Lou Turner, Freddie Hart and Darrell McCall. Some great musicians who have backed Ronnie on stage are Ronnie Huckaby and Benny McArthur (members of Ace In The Hole), Dan Dreeben, Tom Batts, Steve DeLeon, Randy Dennis, Hans Alehog and Joe Blanda. Ronnie participated in a TV filming with Claude Gray , appeared with band members on Fox Network, and has performed in Austin's SXSW, The Austin Rodeo and Biker's Rally. Ronnie has opened for Johnny Paycheck, Don Williams, Johnny Duncan and Freddie Hart.
Ronnie has written several songs, of which some have won honorable mention in several national songwriting contests.
