Rabbit on the Rocks
Rabbit on the Rocks is made up of Matt Huston (Vocals, Lyrics, Arrangement/Composition), and Garrett Zamarron (Lyrics, Arrangement/Composition, Guitar, Vocals).
Garrett and Matt met at their place of work in 2007. They began to experiment with music production later on, and eventually formed a "colab", and named it Rabbit on the Rocks. The name comes from a vague and slightly ridiculous story about the first time they jammed together. They went to a local hangout, called the "Open Space" with their equipment, to produce some music. While there, they faked an English accent to everybody they spoke with. The first people they talked to, two older women, approached them with concern about a rabbit they had seen sitting on the rocks out on the pier. The women were concerned that the rabbit would not be able to find its way back to land. Garrett and Matt faked a very poor English accent while assuring the ladies that they would rescue the rabbit. They did.
RotR began to produce music every night after work, and eventually decided to collaborate and produce music and perform.
....that's all, folks. Listen to 'em, love 'em, throw your panties at 'em.
