David/Paxton Band
The David/Paxton Band and the David/Paxton Duo consists of David Eickenroth and Keith Brown, Keith is also known as Paxton in the band. David and Keith have been performing together on and off for over 40 years. They were first in a band together back in the early 60's, that group was called the Shifters. Later David left that band and started a group called the Rainmakers. Both groups worked out of Traverse City, Michigan. Later the Shifters broke up and Keith and David Drake (drummer) joined the Rainmakers Band. A few years back the drummer died (David Drake) and since then the group has mostly performed as a duo. Ted Crouse joined the band in the late 90's to play piano and he continues to help the duo out when and if he can. The band is not "fame" driven and has no delusions, they just like to perform together and do so on a fairly regular basis and mostly at small venues. They once in a great while will open for a big act and enjoy that when it happens.
